Why Travel with Us?
Every expedition funds change. All profits go directly to supporting our four life-changing programs.
Anawa Project is a non-profit organization working year-round in La Guajira, Colombia, delivering spay & neuter campaigns, veterinary care, and ongoing support to animals in some of the most remote and underserved areas of the region.
When you join one of our expeditions, you’re not just traveling, you’re becoming part of the solution.
Your participation directly funds and empowers our four core programs:

Disclaimer: Donation with Social Purpose
Anawa Project is a legally registered nonprofit organization in Colombia. Our primary mission is to provide veterinary care to animals in critical condition in La Guajira, and to promote animal welfare and community education in vulnerable regions.
The experiences offered by Anawa Project, such as the “Guajira Experience” and the “Alta Guajira Mission”, are not commercial tourism services. Participation is based on a voluntary donation, made with the sole purpose of funding the foundation’s social programs: SALVA, RUTA DEL BIENESTAR, SONRÍE Y APRENDE, and NUTRI.
As a gesture of appreciation, and as part of a meaningful, immersive experience, Anawa Project invites donors to actively take part in these expeditions, which include lodging, meals, and guided field activities that allow participants to witness the direct impact of their support.
Please note: Donations are non-refundable and will be fully directed to the execution of the foundation’s mission-driven work.
